For our project for the 4th grading in school every teacher wanted us to teach one of the lessons. I don’t know if they are just being lazy at teaching or they really want to see how we understand a lesson on our own.
I sound so nerdy saying this but I find it fun. I read all these stuff about my topic, research and get the whole idea of it, then report the lesson in front. When learning about your topic you should be curious not like let’s read this and tell what I have read to my classmates. If you have questions about your topic, research it to have more information, the teacher might even ask you about it. The questions that you make up are also questions that your fellow students might ask as you guys are in the same mind set.

From my successful book talk on Looking for Alaska.
I try to learn the lesson in a simple way so that when I teach it to them they can understand it quickly. I repeat it again and again so it will stay in their minds. Making them understand and remember is the key.
And now I sound so teacher-y. I once thought of becoming a teacher. I have experienced becoming a student-teacher once and it is hard. But still, sharing the things you’ve learned is fun.

Dana. ^^

Fifteen! I am now fifteen years old. I celebrated my birthday in school last Thursday. I was quite late when I got there but…no one greeted me. They keep smiling and saying good morning but no happy birthday. I thought, “Did they forget or something?” On our break time I had food delivered in our class for celebration of my birthday. So clearly they know.

Then I met up with my friend from the other section and she gave me a gift. Aww…it was a framed quote and a scented card which I kept smelling. After that my classmate also gave me a gift which is a bunch of Super Junior photocards from Korea.

We were off for lunch to get food at the canteen. When we were heading back to our room, my classmate ran up to us and asked for my phone. I gave it to her since I thought she’ll just play games or something. When we got to our classroom, I peeked and saw them all at the back. I thought they were doing another Harlem Shake video so it’s fine to come inside. But then they all shouted “HAPPY BIRTHDAY DANA!”. Hahahaha. I wasn’t expecting it at all. And Paula, who asked for my phone, was taking a video! Then four of my classmates came out with cupcakes spelling out my name. Ahhh…I was surprised really.

I was touched by their gesture. Why didn’t I have any suspicions whatsoever about it?? But that would ruin everything. Just thank you guys. I have said thank you so much that day but I really mean it. I don’t know if you guys even read this, hope not. Hahah! Gamsamnida!

Stay safe,
Dana. ^^

Get the tite? Ferb as in Phineas & Ferb who doesn’t talk much and me who hasn’t been posting much this month. No? Well, I’ve been—again—busy with school work. I have been since the start of the year, much that whenever I get home I start immediately with home works, if not then I’m doing a project, and if still not that then I am working on a report.
Good news for this month: I came out as top 1 in our class. *Victory dance* Best news I have gotten so far this year. I have been waiting so long to see that #1 next to my name. I was actually worried because I didn’t know how my grades would turn up but it turned out better than expected. I’m really thankful for that.
But things don’t always work out. Just a couple of days earlier we had some problems in class. Problems that might affect our grades so I am, again, worried. We went to school the next day and acted normal. I don’t know if I’m the only one still thinking about it but I know that we were all affected.
Enough about that. My birthday is coming up in 4 days! I’m excited as always. I will be turning 15 this year and hope it’ll be a good year.

Dana. ^^
